Angel Fire ... A Great Plce to Visit ... A Great Place to Live
Angel Fire is a small resort town with down to earth people and down to earth prices. It's a great place to visit, and a great place to live. Located on the Enchanted Circle, just a short drive from Taos, Angel Fire is nestled in the Moreno Valley between the peaks of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range at 8,420 feet. The mountains surrounding the valley reach above 11,000 feet, with New Mexico's highest, Wheeler Peak, standing at an impressive 13,161 feet.

Angel Fire is a Rocky Mountain playground year 'round. It's the ideal location for just about any outdoor activity, with it's cool summers and snowy winters. And this little town was given it's name by the native peoples who were awed by the spectacular sunsets.

Northern New Mexico winters offer the perfect conditions for great skiing. The arid climate produces a dry powder snow unique to the area, and much prized by skiers, boarders and bladers. Angel Fire has been known as a family-friendly ski resort to generations who come back year after year to enjoy the unspoiled trails at Angel Fire Resort. There are trails for every skill level, and the short lift lines mean more time on the slopes.

When you're ready for something different, you can enjoy cross country skiing, tubing, snowmobiling or snowshoeing, as well as ice fishing and sleigh rides. Then again, you can always cozy up to a roaring fire with hot chocolate and a good book!
